Longford motorists are being warned to expect delays owing to a local road closure and road works this week.

Temporary Road Closure - L-1047-0 Aughagreagh
The L-1047-0 Aughagreagh townland between its junctions with L-1035 (Lislea) and L-1051 (Gelshagh) will be closed between 8am - 4pm from Monday, January 26 – Friday, January 30.
This closure is required to facilitate road maintenance works. There will be no through access on this road for safety reasons. Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works. In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs..

Roadworks - L-1127 Aghafad
Roadworks are taking place at the L-1127 Aghafad to facilitate welding works for a new watermain between 8am and 5pm from Monday, January 26 – Friday, January 30.
A Stop/Go or Temporary Traffic Lights may be used during the works. The road will remain open but short traffic delays should be expected.
