The Cian Gray Memorial Run was the fourth one this year, and amassed great support from the community, friends, family and teachers
The Cian Gray Memorial Run took place on recently at the Dromard GAA grounds. Having reached its fourth year, the event has been a constant success as a fundraiser towards Longford Hospice Centre, which looked after Cian.
In attendance at the event were school friends, teachers, family and the wider community to take part in the all-vehicle run.
Over 220 vehicles got involved, with a raffle included, refreshments, music and a great respect to honour Cian’s memory.

The committee has since collected its numbers and wanted to pass on that they presented a €23,000 cheque to Longford Hospice, which has been described as an “incredible amount” by the committee.
Attendees were able to give donations by registering for the run, with all the registration stickers sold out, as well as numerous donation buckets that were available at the GAA grounds and during the run.

The committee would like to pass on their gratitude for the generosity and community spirit shown.
