Entries closing for Mohill's Show

Mohill’s 95th Annual Agricultural Show will take place on Sunday August 18th and the Show Committee themselves are investing in their Show with the hosting of four Classes with €750 prize money in each Class for Pedigree Bull and Heifer Calves born on or after September 1st 2023 – two Continental Classes and two Non- Continental Classes.

As well as these attractive Classes the Schedule lists details of the Super Baby Beef Class, sponsored by John McNulty, Solicitor, Mohill and two Special Classes sponsored by Aurivo – for Non-Pedigree Heifer and Non- Pedigree Weanling – Male or Female.
As well as investing in their Cattle Section the Committee have raised the Prize money in all Horse and Pony Classes at their own expense.

The Schedule also lists the great variety of exhibit Classes in all other Sections of the Show- Sheep, Goats, Dogs, Cookery & Crafts, Farm & Garden Produce, Flowers, Honey, Art, Photography, and a special Junior Section for the Junior Show enthusiasts.

Mohill Show will host Qualifiers for Irish Shows Association Championships – A. Browne Filly Foal Championship, Limerick Two Year Old Filly Championship, Iverk Broodmare Championship, The Breeders.

The Quality Onion Championship, The All Ireland Gun Dog and All Ireland Native Breed Championships and of course details of the Leitrim Irish Draught Breeders Championship the Final which will be held at Mohill Show are also outlined in the Schedule.
