It's time to get your motor running as motorcycles from across Ireland will descend on Longford for the fourth annual midlands motorcycle show.

Hosted by the Freewheelers MC Ireland north central chapter this exciting event takes place in Connolly Barracks, Longford on Saturday August 10.

The show will feature a large display of custom, classic and vintage motorcycles as well as a large number of motorcycle related stalls and an autojumble.

The show itself is a culmination of a day starting with a charity run starting in Robinstown filling station in Mullingar. It will arrive at the motorcycle show for 2:00pm.

Midlands based rock and blues band, Blind Dog, will be taking to the stage in Connolly Barracks as part of the festivities.

The charity run is a fundraiser for St Joseph's National School Longford playground fund and autism unit.

This is very much a family fun day with children's entertainment food and ice cream available.

Entry to the Connolly Barracks motorcycle show is €10 euros for adult and free entry for children.
