Michael Hetherton Kilmihil, Clare / Clonmellon, Westmeath / Meath / Longford

The recent death has occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 28, 2024

of Michael Hetherton Kilmihil, Clare and formerly of Kilrush Lower, Clonmellon, Westmeath.

Pre-deceased by his wife Maureen and their son Damien, brothers Liam, Fr Seamus and Seán, sisters Pauline (Tierney) and Kitty (Coughlan).

Much loved and sadly missed by his son Seán (Longford), daughter Geraldine, daughter-in-law Antoinette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing this Monday, July 29 at St Michael's Church Kilmihil from 6pm with prayers at 8pm.

Davy Dowler Bawn, Moydow, Longford

The recent death has occurred on Saturday, July 27, 2024 of Davy Dowler, Bawn, Moydow, Longford, reunited with his beloved parents Jimmy and Sally (Sarah).

Davy will be forever missed and always loved by his family, sister Mary, brothers JJ, Peter, Padraig, Sean, Tony, Brendan, Martin, Aidan, and Gerry, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, his great neighbours and lifelong friends.

As long as our hearts keep beating. As long as our eyes shed tears, we will always love and miss you. No matter how many years.

Rest in Peace Davy, till we meet again.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, (N39 KN66) on Monday, July 29 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his home on Tuesday, July 30 to arrive to St. Mary's Church, Moydow for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, Davy will be laid to rest in Moydow Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Family

Jim Halpin Ennis Road, Limerick City, Limerick /North Circular Road, Limerick / Castlepollard, Westmeath

The recent death has occurred peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick on Saturday, July 27, 2024 of Jim Halpin, Ennis Road, Limerick city, Limerick and formerly North Circular Road, Limerick and Castlepollard, Westmeath. Late of Irish Aviation Authority.

Jim is deeply regretted by his loving children Jamie, Gillian and Bryan, their mother Mona, his six adored grandchildren Colin, Shane, Alexandra, Ronan, Erika and Charlotte, sister Hannah, brother Michael, daughters-in-law Loretta and Anne-Marie, son-in-law Richard, sister-in-law Moira, brother-in-law Sean, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his sister Mairéad. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Monday, July 29 from 5pm to 6:30pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, July 30 at 11:30am.

Private cremation at a later time.

Mass will be live streamed online. Family flowers only please. The Halpin family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Prof. Margaret O’Connor and her team at St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West for all their care and kindness.

Pauline Morris (née Morrison) Gulladoo, Carrigallen, Leitrim

The recent death has occurred peacefully in Mullingar hospital surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 26, 2024 of Pauline Morris (nee Morrison) late of Gulladoo, Carrigallen, Leitrim. Born in Crumlin Dublin 1935, envoy to legion of Mary in Argentina from 1968 to 1972.

Predeceased by her beloved husband James sister Una, brother Pat and nephew Declan. Sadly missed by her sister Nuala Brother Joe, her brother in law. nieces and nephews, Sarah, Padraic Fionnuala, Michael, Edward, James, Cormac, Agnes, Mary, Fiona, Fergus, Ciaran, Fiachra, Lorcan, Therese, Gemma, Brendan Padraig's wife Verena and their children.

Reposing at Kelly's funeral home Athlone Road, Longford on Monday evening, July 29 from 5pm until 7pm. Eircode (N39k381). Removal from the funeral home on Tuesday,

July 30 to arrive at St. Mary's church Carrigallen for Funeral mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu if so desired to palliative care Mullingar hospital c/o McGuckian Funeral directors or any family member. The family wish to thank Laurel Lodge nursing home Longford for the great care and kindness shown to Pauline.

Pat McBrien Altachullion, Corlough, Cavan / Leitrim / Fermanagh

The recent death has occurred peacefully, at his home on Friday, July 26, 2024 of Pat McBrien, Altachullion, Corlough, Cavan/ Leitrim/ Fermanagh.

Predeceased by his wife Claire (last September). He will be sadly missed by his loving sons Gerard (Marcella); Kevin (Lisa), daughter Karen (Gareth), grandchildren Callum, Luke, Abbie, Chloe; Dylan, his brother Sean (Noeleen), sister Mary (Sonny), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High St. Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim N41 TD62 on Sunday evening, July 28 from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning, July 29 to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Corlough for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
