Mary Ann Brennan (née Darcy) Owencam, Corlough, Cavan

The recent death has occurred peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Monday, July 22, 2024 of Mary Ann Brennan (nee Darcy) Owencam, Corlough, Cavan.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Tommy, her loving family Declan (Sara), Stephen (Magda), Gary (Kay), Helena (Adrian), Ciarán (Sharon) and Niall (Marie), her sister Chrissie (P.J.), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, beloved grandchildren Kevin, Edel, Siobhán, Tara, Holly, Kasia, Conor, Fintan, Mackenzie, Annabelle and Thomas, her nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62 on Wednesday evening, July 24 from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning, July 25 arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Corlough for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Family Flowers only please.

Kathleen Kenny (née Logan) 40 Ard-na-Veigh, Sligo Town, Sligo / Ballinamore, Co Leitrim



The recent death has occurred peacefully, in the great care of the nurses, carers and staff at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon on Monday, July 22, 2024 of Kathleen Kenny (nee Logan) 40 Ard-na-Veigh, Sligo town/ Ballinamore, Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by her siblings Mary, Margaret and John.

Beloved wife of Donal and loving mother of Anne, Peter and Malcolm. She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sons, grandchildren Catherine, Peter, Megan, Orla, Ailsa and Sinead, son-in-law Steve, daughters-in-law Brona and Angela, brother-in-law Frank (U.S.A.), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Friday evening, July 26 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Mary’s Chapel of Ease, Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim on Saturday morning, July 27 at 11:30am for Requiem mass followed by burial at the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Abbey Haven Nursing Home Patient Comfort Fund, care of The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.

Seamus Martin Aughafin, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford



The recent death has occurred peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and sons and in the care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 of Seamus Martin, Aughafin, Edgeworthstown and formerly of Lissduff House, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

Predeceased by his sisters Rosita and Colette. Sadly missed by his wife Martha, sons Paul and Aidan, brothers Sean and Tommie, grandchildren Ailish, Aoife and Eoin, daughter-in-law Sinéad and Aidan's partner Sophie, bothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew's, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Our Lady's Manor on Thursday evening, July 25 from 5.00pm with prayers at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, July 26 at 11.00am in St. Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford. Burial afterward in Aughafin Cemetery.
