Longford County Council has given notice of the closure of a road on the Longford Westmeath border.
The L-51611-0 in the townland of Ringowny, Springtown runs between Edgeworthstown and Lisryan.
The road has been closed since Monday, February 26 and will remain closed up to this Friday, March 1, 2024.
The local authority notice indicated that the closure will be in effect between 08:00am and 5:00pm.
This road closure is required to facilitate restoration improvement works. Local access to the roadway will be facilitated.
In the interest of road safety road users are requested to heed all signs.
