Vandals wreak havoc at popular Longford tourist spot

Beautiful Barley Harbour in Newtowncashel, a popular location amongst locals and tourists alike, was targeted by vandals overnight.

"The grass will recover but the more worrying thing is them taking down the stop sign."

Revealing that he had been in contact with the caretaker in Corlea, Kevin pointed out that he had no idea when or from where the signs were taken.

"I walked down this morning and saw the two signs in the car park. They must have been doing doughnuts with them underneath their wheels to preserve the tyres."
