Gardaí in Donegal arrest two men as part of human trafficking investigation

The two men, aged in their 40s and 50s, were arrested in Co Louth and Co Roscommon

Gardaí in Donegal have arrested two men as part of ongoing investigations into organised crime.

Members of An Garda Síochána investigating human trafficking and money laundering made these arrests on Friday, September 12.

The two men, aged in their 40s and 50s, were arrested in Co Louth and Co Roscommon respectively. 

They are now being detained at stations in the Garda North Western Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána has confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
