Investigations are ongoing
An elderly woman has died following a single-vehicle road crash in Cork.
The incident occurred in the Dunkettle Ballinglanna area of Glanmire on Monday, August 25 at approximately 1:50pm.
The driver, a woman aged in her 90s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed at this time to facilitate technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 1:30pm and 2:10pm on Monday, August 25 are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
