Search for 35-year-old woman missing for two days stood down as gardaí issue update

A 35-year-old woman who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been located "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.

Siofra Ní Chanaigh -  described as being in the height range of 5 foot 2 – 6 inches, with a medium build, light brown hair and blue eyes - was reported missing from Drumcondra, Dublin 3, since Monday, January 6 at approximately 6.30pm.

When last seen, Siofra was wearing light blue denim jeans, a red jumper with a daisy motif, and black boots.

"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
