Man hospitalised after assault outside night club in the Midlands
Gardai are examining CCTV after a man was hospitalised following an assault outside a night club in the Midlands.
A man received facial injuries in a nighttime assault on a Portlaoise street, requiring a trip to Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

A man had allegedly punched the victim in the face, causing facial injury and bleeding. The suspect is not yet known to Gardaí.
It happened at about 2.15am on Sunday morning, December 15 in Market Square, outside Coppers nightclub/The Mixer.

An investigation is underway, with CCTV footage to be examined.
