Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a a woman in county Longford.
The incident allegedly happened in a residential estate in the Ballymahon area last Thursday.

The woman was taken to a sexual assault treatment unit at Mullingar’s Midland Regional Hospital following the complaint.
A Garda spokesman said, "Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault that is reported to have occurred on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in Ballymahon, Co. Longford.
"Investigations are ongoing. No further information is available at this time."
