Man arrested after cocaine worth 3m euro seized in Dublin

A man has been arrested after cocaine valued at three million euro was seized in Dublin.

A search was carried out at a residence in Clondalkin on Tuesday.

The arrested man, in his 30s, is being detained at a Garda station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

The operation was conducted by gardai attached to the Serious Crime South unit in Clondalkin and Ballyfermot.

The suspected cocaine will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland to undergo analysis.
