Gardaí in new appeal as woman hit by van in Dublin crash dies in hospital
Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that occurred in Ringsend, Dublin 4 on Wednesday morning, March 20, 2024.
Shortly before 8am on that day, a van collided with a female pedestrian at the junction of Cambridge Road and Thorncastle Street.
The woman, aged in her 50s, was receiving treatment at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. She passed away from her injuries on Saturday, 23td March 22024.
An Garda Síochána are continuing to appeal to any witnesses of this collision to come forward. They are also appealing to anyone with video footage (including dash-cam) from the area between 7:45am and 8:15am on the 20th March 2024 to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
