The partner of MMA fight Ryan Curtis, Em Zac, has shared a sweet update as she brought their daughter to the hospital.

Ryan Curtis, known as ‘Chaos’, suffered life altering injuries, including a broken back, broken neck and dislocated spine.

The 31-year-old was injured during a training session and has no movement in his legs or his left arm.

Sharing a picture Ryan, herself and their daughter Kassia, Em commented: “Ryan finally got to meet our beautiful baby girl Kassia today ❤️ she will be three in February, but has a good understanding of why her daddy is in hospital.”

According to Em, their three-year-old is constantly asking when her father will be home.

“Her understanding of time frames is difficult as she is constantly asking when he can come home and when can we have our usual disco in the kitchen dancing to her favourite “Trolls” soundtrack. This is such a huge event but children are amazing as they are often more resilient than us adults. This is what I find the hardest at the moment trying to split myself in two for the two people I love so so much in this world,” Em said.

“I am so beyond grateful for our families and friends pulling together to help us through this journey. The staff at the RVH ICU are honestly amazing and provide me with so much comfort knowing he is in the best care when I’m unable to be by his side. If I could move in I definitely would. Ryan sends his thanks as always for the well wishes, prayers and donations. They mean so much to our family. PS Kassia has kindly leant her daddy some of her teddies for comfort at night time."
