ALERT: Children's slippers sold by popular supermarket recalled due to tripping hazard

Children's slippers sold by a popular supermarket chain are being recalled due to a major safety concern.

According to Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Asda/George is carrying out the recall of their White All Over Dinosaur Slippers due to a potential risk associated with a fault in the velcro which could lead to the strap coming undone.

This could create a tripping hazard, which could lead to cuts, abrasions or a concussion.

The affected product model numbers and corresponding barcodes can be found below:

There are approximately 22 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. This product was sold via the Global-E platform.

Customers should stop using the product and keep out of reach of children.

The Global-e Platform have contacted affected consumers in relation to this recall and will arrange refunds.
