A quick volunteer response over the weekend ensured that a number of stranded dolphins were rescued and refloated back to sea in Kerry.
Six common dolphins initially live stranded and then the rest of the pod came into shallow water, the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) outlined.
A local community volunteer effort swung into action and once all animals were refloated they were guided out to deeper waters.
The rescue was overseen by the local live stranding network co-ordinator.
Those involved in the operation were praised for their "quick reponse and fantastic teamwork" by the IWDG.
Cloghane village is located on the Dingle Peninsula, at the foot of Mount Brandon, overlooking Brandon Bay.
