Longford Motoring Alert: Road closure for the Albert Reynolds Memorial Lecture

To facilitate the visit of John Major to the Backstage Theatre for the Inaugural Albert Reynolds Memorial Lecture, Longford County Council wishes to inform the public that the L 1127 from its junction with the R397 at Ballymacormack to its junction with the L 3013 at Lisduff Cross will be closed from 2pm to 6pm, today, Monday, December 10.

Road for Closure: L 1127 from its junction with the R397 at Ballymacormack to its junction with the L 3013 at Lisduff Cross

Date of Closure: Monday, December 10, 2018

Hours of Closure: 2pm to 6pm

Alternative Route: Local Diversions will apply. Motorists are requested to heed all signs and to follow the detours. 

Local access shall be facilitated in as far as practicable with access only at the Ballymacormack/R397 junction. Proof of residency will be required to access the road. Longford County Council and An Garda Siochana wishes to thank the public in advance for their co-operation.
