Road resurfacing works to disrupt Longford town traffic

Longford County Council is advising motorists to drive with care and to heed all signs over the next few days as road resurfacing works get underway in the county town.

Annaly Park will be closed to traffic (local access will be maintained) for three days on Friday, December 7 and also on Monday & Tuesday, December 10 & 11, from 7am to 6pm daily.

While on Wednesday, December 12, road resurfacing works take place at Fee Court and at the junction of Little Water Street and Main Street. Parking will be provided in the Longford County Council car park at the County Buildings and on Church Street free of charge for the day.

Time: 7am to 6pm daily
Traffic: To facilitate the works, the  roads in Annaly park will be closed to traffic. Local Access will be maintained. Access to the Annaly Carpark will be possible via the Richmond Street junction. Motorists are asked to heed all signs.

Time: 7am to 5pm – This work will commence once Fee Court is complete
Traffic:Traffic Management will be in place. Road will remain open.
