ALERT | Motorists warned North Longford road closed due to essential bridge repair work

Motorists are been warned that a North Longford road will remain closed due to essential bridge repair work.

The L-1024 Kiltycreevagh to Leggagh which has been subject to a  24-hour closure since Monday, September 8 is to remain closed until Friday week, October 10.

This road closure is required for essential bridge repair work at Kiltycreevagh Bridge.

Alternative Routes

Traffic from Ballinamuck to Leggagh should divert through Ballinamuck village on the L-1017 to Gaigue crossroads and proceed on the R198 to Martins Cross, then turn onto the L-1023 to Leggagh village.

Traffic from Leggagh to Ballinamuck should divert onto the R198 at Martins Cross and proceed to Gaigue crossroads, then turn onto L-1017 into Ballinamuck village.
