Sixty per cent pass rate for driving test in Longford

Over 60% of those who sit the driving test in Co Longford pass according to figures available online.
According to the latest data available from the Road Safety Authority (RSA), the pass rate for Longford is 60.2%.


The pass rate in Carrick-on-Shannon is 63.1%.


Pass rates in Cavan are slightly higher at 67.9% while Donegal town has a pass rate of 60.8%.
In Donegal the pass rate is similar to that of Longford at 60.2% while in Roscommon, the figure is slightly lower with 58.9% of those sitting the driving test, passing.


Figures for Sligo show that 59% of those completing the test, pass.
Cork (Ballincollig) has the highest pass rate at 74.5% closely followed by Loughrea in Galway with 74.9%.


The overall national average pass rate is just 55.2% with nearly half of applicants failing the test on average.
