Major road works on the N63 Ballinalee Road, Longford town will be take place at night from Tuesday, January 10 to next Friday week, January 20.
To facilitate the night time work the junction of College Park with the N63 will be closed from 8pm to 4am nightly.
The junction of Blind Mans Walk with the N63 be closed from 10pm to 4am only on nights when work is ongoing at the junction.
There has been much frustration expressed at the lack of progress with work on the Ballinalee Road and at the December meeting of Longford County Council Cllr Gerry Hagan said the delays had resulted in “a crippling” of local business.
