Specsavers Longford invites people to prioritise regular eye and ear tests

This World Health Day, April 7, 2026, as the World Health Organisation (WHO) rallies the globe under the theme "Together for health. Stand with science," Specsavers Longford is encouraging proactive health management by highlighting the importance of routine eye and hearing examinations.

Eye Examinations: Beyond a prescription update, a comprehensive eye exam at Specsavers uses advanced technology like Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans, which create a detailed 3D image of the structures at the back of your eye, and high-resolution digital retinal photography to examine blood vessels, the optic nerve and the retina.
