The Longford Town ICA Guild held a successful dancing evening on Sunday, October 12 at the Temperance Hall, Longford. The event ran from 6pm to 8pm and received excellent support from the local community.
Guests enjoyed an energetic mix of bopping, waltzing, quick stepping, slow waltzing, and line dancing, accompanied by live music from Sean Hussey.

The Guild extends thanks to the Night-Time Economy initiative for their support, and to all ICA members who volunteered their time through home baking and organisation. Special appreciation goes to May for leading the dance and providing training.
Congratulations to Margaret O’Hara and Michael from Roscommon, winners of the table draw. The evening was a wonderful celebration of music and community spirit.

The next Dancing Evening will take place at Temperance Hall, Longford, on Sunday, November 16 from 7 to 9pm (doors open at 6:30pm), with music by Seamus Farrell. More information is available on the ICA Town Guild Facebook page.
The next ICA Town Guild meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 5 at 8pm in the ICA Headquarters, Connolly Barracks. The guest speaker will host a Decoupage on Candles session.
