The two-day event showcased the very best in home improvement, design, and innovation

The Longford Leader Build & Renovate Expo 2025, held at the Longford Arms Hotel on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, proved to be a resounding success, attracting thousands of visitors from across the region.


The two-day event, hosted by the Longford Leader / Longford Live, showcased the very best in home improvement, design, and innovation. Attendees explored dozens of exhibitor stands featuring everything from cutting-edge solar technology and stylish kitchen designs to expert financial advice and clever DIY solutions. The expo offered homeowners and aspiring renovators a unique opportunity to meet professionals face-to-face and gather ideas for their next project.

Dessie Connolly, Regional Sales Director with the Longford Leader, expressed his gratitude to all who participated. “We’re absolutely delighted with the turnout and the energy throughout the weekend,” he said. “It was a fantastic opportunity for our clients to showcase their businesses to such large and engaged crowds. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”

Following the success of this inaugural event, plans are already underway for the Build & Renovate Expo 2026. Organisers aim to expand the offering and bring even more exciting ideas and businesses to the people of Longford.
