Pictured with his coaches is promising Longford boxer Martin Gerard 'Rocky' Nevin, who was over in England competing in the recent Barum Cup and emerged as a winner in his division.
Affiliated to Athlone Boxing Club under the guidance of coaches Joe Ward and Rory Parkes, the Leinster and All-Ireland champion Martin Gerard is a pupil in St Michael's Boys National School.
Son of Martin Gerard and Winnie Nevin, 12-year-old 'Rocky' would like to thank his school for their support for his sport.
