There is less than one week to go for emergency services and military personnel in Longford and the Midlands have to register for the an upcoming Emergency Services and Military Expo.

The Out of the Blue Training & Employment Services is urging emergency services and military personnel to sign up for the event, which takes place on Thursday, September 10 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone.

Admission is free the expo brings together a strong lineup of speakers and vendors from across the emergency services and military community, with serving and retired members of An Garda Síochána, the Defence Forces, the National Ambulance Service, Dublin Fire Brigade, the Irish Coast Guard, the Prison Service, and a wide range of other frontline organisations under one roof for a full day of elite networking, upskilling, and career development.

Stephen Moore, founder of Out of the Blue Training and Employment Services and a former member of An Garda Síochána with over twenty years' service, said: "We have put together a very strong lineup of speakers and vendors, and with less than a week to go I want to make sure that every person in the emergency services and military community knows the door is open to them — at whatever stage of their career they are at.

"Whether you are joining, serving, or approaching retirement, there is something here for you. This is an elite networking opportunity, and with free tickets available there is no reason not to be there.

"Come along, connect with people who understand what you have given, and leave with real, practical tools for the road ahead."

All in service are welcome — whether they are considering joining, seeking advancement, planning a career transition, or preparing for retirement and refreshments will be provided for all attendees throughout the day.

Coaches will be on hand to provide practical, one-to-one support with psychometric testing, competency forms, CV preparation, and competency-based interview techniques, alongside expert guidance on financial planning, pension advice, and healthy lifestyle supports for those approaching retirement.

The expo also supports two charities close to the frontline community — Little Blue Heroes and O.N.E. — reflecting the organiser's long-standing commitment to the wellbeing of those who serve and those who have served.

The event will also mark the official launch of Frontline Founders Ireland, a new initiative supporting those from the emergency services and military community who are building businesses and pursuing entrepreneurship after service.
