Team Hope

With Christmas fast approaching it can be easy sometimes to forget that there are many children who through war, poverty and neglect will never experience the joy of opening a present on Christmas morning. In light of this a children’s shoe box appeal is taking place. Gifts which can go into the shoe box include items for school such as a pen, pencil, colouring book etc. Small items of clothing with hygiene items such as toothbrush and paste are accepted. Toys like dolls, toy cars and skipping would be very much appreciated. Envelopes which must be attached to the shoe box are available at Cloonagh P.O or by contacting Ruairi McElligott on 087 9203909. These envelopes contain more information on this worthwhile project. There will be a collection for the shoe boxes at the Laurels on Sunday 8th November from 10.00a.m. - 11.00a.m.
