The late Joe Doyle
It’s with much sadness and regret that we record the death of Joe Doyle which occurred suddenly at his residence in Molly on Saturday, October 24th last. The late Joe was an easy going gentleman who could only be described as a real kind decent man who will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Joe was an accomplished accordion player and while he never sought the limelight, he was always ready to help at any fundraiser in the area and was happiest when he was sitting in a quiet corner playing his tunes. Predeceased by his sisters Mairead and Rita, Joe is survived by his sister Shelia Connor, Ardagh; brothers Seamus, Thomas and Brendan, his nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours and many friends to whom we extend sincere sympathy at this sad time. Joe was laid to rest on Wednesday following Mass in St Colmcille’s, Aughnacliffe. May he rest in peace.
