Fundraiser

Fundraising night for Longford Palliative Homecare in memory of the late Willie Tully, Killoe on Friday 6th November in the Longford Arms Hotel. Tickets are €10 Available on the night and from Catherine Tully on 087 9547103.

Supper Dance

St. Patrick’s church of Ireland will host a Supper Dance in the Park House Hotel in Edgeworthstown on Friday November 6th and tickets are now on sale from committee members.Music on the night is by Vincie Carr and Anne McGrory from Donegal and all proceeds go towards the church’s restoration fund. Your support will be much appreciated.

Table quiz

On Friday night November 13th next Bunlahy Area Action Group will host a Table Quiz in Creegan’s, Bunlahy and your support will be greatly appreciated.

New baby

Congratulations to Sean and Grainne Sheridan, Ferriskil on the birth of their first baby - a boy to be named Patrick Charlie. This young man is a welcome grandson for Patsy and Dorothy Fox, Esker and Sean and Marie Sheridan. We all look forward to seeing Patrick lining out in the Black and Amber in the future.

Novena

The solemn Novena to our Lady starts tonight Wednesday, October 28th at 7-30pm in St Mary’s Church in Granard and will continue for nine weeks in preparation for Christmas.
