Get Fit

Lisryan run/walk will take place September 13th. Plenty of time for you to dust off those runners and start getting ready. Watch this space for details shortly.

FETAC Training

Ardscoil Phádraig are currently finalising their enrolment process for FETAC Level 5 courses in Animal Care and Nursing Studies. These FETAC Level 5 courses are suitable for both school leavers and mature students who wish to return to education and gain new skills or employment. They also provide links to certain courses in Universities and Institutes of Technology and can be worth up to 400 points. Please contact the school on 043 6686209 for further details.

National Land League of Ireland

Streete Lotto

Numbers drawn in Streete Parish Park Lotto on Monday, 6th July were 6, 13, 14 and 25. There was no jackpot winner. €40 winners were: Pat Grimes, Rathowen; Stephen Scully, c/o Sharon Gettings; Lisryan and Bridget Maguire, c/o Bingo. Next lotto draw is on Monday, 20th July when the jackpot will be €6,800. Thank you for supporting our community.

St Fintan’s Cemetery

The St Fintan’s Cemetery committee wishes to thank everyone who helped clean up the cemetery for Cemetery Sunday and for their generous contribution to the Cemetery collection. We also wish to say a special word of thanks to Patrick Gogan, Edgeworthstown who cleaned the cross in the cemetery free of charge for the committee.
