Monster Auction

Auction takes place on Sunday 19th October in Tang GAA club grounds. Hundreds of items for Auction to mention a few - Livestock, Farm Machinery, Antique Furniture, Garden Furniture, Fuel, Turf, & Firewood, Hay & Straw, Electrical Items, etc. Viewing from 11am on day of auction. Refreshments served throughout the day. A day of bargains and fun for everyone.

Sympathy

We extend our deepest sympathy to the family, relatives and parishioners of Fr Joe Brilley, who died peacefully last Sunday, RIP.

Smoke alarms

Westmeath County Council are giving away Smoke Alarms. Elderly people and people living alone will be a priority. Please contact Anne Marie on 04493 32217 Community Alert Officer.

Care & Conservation of Graveyards

Caimin O’Brien, Archaeologist, National Monuments Service, Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht will give an short illustrated talk with the title – ‘Looking after our Graveyards  – a guide to the care and conservation of our historic graveyards’ on Tuesday 14th October at 8pm in Tang Community Centre. This is a public meeting – everyone is welcome.

AED (Defibrillator)

Training starts back in October, if interested please give your name to Darren Mulledy on 0861704394. All AED’s in Tang, Forgney and Ballymahon area are kept serviced and pads and batteries are in date. Thanks to the community groups that look after their AED’s. Toddler group

Every Tuesday morning in Tang Community Centre from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Tai Chi classes

Continue every Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm in Tang Community Centre. For further details contact 087-9925816.

Set Dancing

Classes continue in Tang Community Centre every Wednesday night at 8.30pm. Everyone welcome. Come alone or bring a few !!
