Death

We offer sincere sympathy to brothers Michael and Thomas Donegan, Listubbit on the death of their mother, Maureen Donegan (nee Delaney) which occurred at her residence after a prolonged illness on January 14th. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas and her brother Jimmy Delaney by just three months. We also extend sympathy to her brother Michael, nephews, nieces and extended family. Maureen was buried in Carrickedmond cemetery on Friday, January 16 after mass in Carrickedmond church.

Progressive 25

Winners in Saint Dominic’s centre last Thursday night were Ivan and Peter, Paddy and Michael, ten games, they win twenty euro each; Peter and Brendan, eleven games, they win thirty five euro each. Table prizes: Pat and Joe, Peter and Freda, all win twenty euro each. Raffle: Pat Larkin, Paddy Conway, Robin Carberry, Bernie Smith, Tom Mulvihill and Peter Gregg, all win ten euro each.

Bowls

Bowls take place in Saint Dominic’s Centre every Tuesday night from 8 to 10pm. The game of indoor bowls has begun to catch on in many parishes throughout the county at present. It is a most enjoyable sport for young and old, men and women. Newcomers welcome every Tuesday night, refreshments served at a small charge.

Athletics Club

Kenagh AC commences on Monday, 12th January from 6pm onwards. We welcome all new and existing members to come along to St Domini’s Community Centre and join in training sessions. A registration night will be held on Monday 19th from 6pm onwards upstairs in the community centre.

Lotto

The numbers drawn in Kenagh GAA Lotto for Sunday, January 18 were 4, 6, 22, 25. There was one match three winner Conor Miley, Derralough, wins 80 euro.
