Wedding
The marriage took place on Saturday September 7th in St Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh of Stephen Reilly, Drumhass and Kim Peat, of Artane, Dublin. Chief celebrant at the marriage ceremony was Fr. Tom Colreavy assisted by Rev. John Quinn. Bridesmaids were Lindsay and Gemma Peat, sisters of the bride and her friend Emma Kenny O’Riordan. Bestman was Patrick Reilly, brother of the groom while the groomsmen were his friends, Tom Regan and Dean Roche. The groom’s nephew, Samuel Roche was the handsome Page Boy. A most enjoyable wedding reception for the guests was held at the Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. We wish Stephen and Kim many years of health and happiness in their married lives.

The Gortletteragh juniors bowed out of the championship in Páirc Séan on Saturday evening last when they went under to Mohill at the semi final stage and our seniors were just one point short in the Leo Kenny Cup final which went the way of Cahelestrane in a high scoring entertaining game on Tuesday evening. Both seniors and juniors must be commended on giving their all in 2013.
