Cloone

CLOONE ICA: Our next meeting will take place in Cloone Community Centre at 8.30 on May 13th. All members are asked to attend. Our Monday night crafts classes will stop for Summer on This Monday night 29/4/14 and will start again September. Any unfinished items will be completed then. A special thanks to Marie Donohoe for great dedication and new skills, all those attended were very happy with results. Those who wanted patchwork and quiltery will be first on the agenda in September. Have your needles thread bits & pieces of patches all ready. We had a wonderful spring of friendship working on various crafts. Some members attended different events in An Iarnan in Carrick on Shannon etc. Our new members are a great addition to our group. We would like to thank all those who came out night after night to make it such an enjoyable winter. I hope you have a very happy summer and we look forward to seeing you soon again in the harvest.

ACTIVE AGE: Aughavas/Cloone Active age. Our next meeting is being held on Wednesday 8th of May at 8pm in Cloone Community Centre to finalise details of Wicklow trip and to distribute intervention cheese. All members are asked to attend to collect their allocation or arrange for someone to collect it on their behalf.

COMMUNITY PLAYSCHOOL: We are now taking bookings for September 2013 for children who are age 2 years and 10 months on the 1st September 2013. We are also providing places under the ECCE scheme if your child is going to school in September 2013 and born between 2nd February 2009 and 30th June 2010 they are entitled to avail of the free pre school year. PLAYSCHOOL: Cloone/Aughgavas Community Playschool. Offers children the opportunity to learn through play in a safe stimulating and educational environment.
