To celebrate the work of our volunteers we are having a celebratory evening on Thursday, Feb. 27th. All our volunteers and Group Leaders, Shop Volunteers and New Volunteers are invited.

Knitting Club

Knit & Chat, share Patterns and Tips. Every Tuesday from 12 pm – 1pm in the centre. Knitters also required to knit ‘little chicks’ for Easter fundraiser!

Eager Readers

A Book Club for those who love the pastime and want to discuss and learn among themselves. Starting Thursdays from Feb. 27th. between 12.30 – 1.30 pm. All welcome.

Thai Chi

Thursday evenings – 7pm-8pm Granard Walking Club: in conjunction with Longford Sports Partnership have organised an Operation Transformation walk guided by professional Coach - Friday mornings starting at 10am from St. Mary’s Sports Complex, Granard Friday Club Chair based Exercises: A chair based Exercise and Mediation Programme will run for 4 weeks starting on Friday 7th February. This programme is suitable for everyone and all levels of fitness. Contact reception in Lus Na Greine for more details or to book your place.

Women In Touch

Tuesdays 10 -12. ‘Busybees Parent & Toddler’ Group: Meet Wednesdays’ 11-12.30. Structured workshops combining play, puppet making, musical rhythms and reading stories. Tips and support for Parents, Grandparents and Carers. Other groups and clubs as normal. All welcome

Volunteers Needed For

Community Garden & Youth Groups. Training provided.

Speaking with Confidence

Tips to get you smoothly through that key event and build your confidence speaking in groups or in public. Four week course starting soon. If interested please get your name in.

Pottery Classes

We are now accepting names for a Pottery Class tutored by a fully qualified professional. Classes will take place subject to interest and will probably be on a Tuesday evening. Please book at centre.

Triple P Parenting

Starting February 25th at 8 pm and continuing for four weeks.
