Class Reunion: A reunion of Leaving Cert Cnoc Mhuire Class of 1981 is being organised. It will take place at The Piker’s Lodge, Loch Gowna on Friday 28th Oct 2011. The organisers wish to state that the reunion is not confined to those who sat for the Leaving Cert. All who started in first year are invited to come along. A gmail account has been set up to use to contact each other and also to use to send out a group email with details of the event as time gets nearer. Granard Library: As part of National Heritage Week, A Tale of Two Soldiers Archaeology Workshop will take place at Granard Library on this Wednesday 24th August from 3.00p.m to 4.30p.m. Help uncover the story of two soldiers lives through the artefacts they left behind. This event is for children from 8-12. Only twelve youngsters are allowed to attend. Booking is essential at heritage@longfordcoco.ie/ or by calling 0436686164.
