Longford Race Day
At the recent launch of Longford GAA Race Day sponsored this year by Flynn & Lynch, Mr. Martin Skelly encouraged all Longford people to come on board again and support. This is the 12th Race Day and is due to take place on 30 April 2014. He reminded everyone present of the importance of this event both as a great social event as well as outlining the financial importance it is to Longford GAA. The price of the Race Day remains good value for money and is held at €100 per person or €1000 for a table of ten. Contact your local GAA club for further information.
Granard Community games are holding Registration for Soccer U14 Boys and Girls will take place on 21 Friday at 5pm in Higginstown Sport Complex.

Learning Sessions: Computer/Mobile Phone - Learning Sessions: Everybody is really enjoying these and the feedback from the various groups is wonderful. North Longford Men’s Group is celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a social evening in Dolan’s, Aughnacliffe on Saturday, 29 March with music by Drifting Cowboy. Light refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome. A night not to be missed!

The Centre would like to say thanks for the amount of €275.19 from our Church gate collection in February. A total of €3,760 was collected from the Church going Community in Co. Longford.
A fundraising concert will take place in Crover House Hotel, Mountnugent at 8.30pm with Mick Flavin and his Band. Proceeds toward the maintenance of Holy Trinity Abbey, Kilnacrott. Your support will be appreciated.
