Joe Callaghan Branch of CCE

The Joe Callaghan Branch of CCE are holding their Annual church gate collection outside all masses on 29th and 30th March. Proceeds to towards running the Co. Longford Fleadh Ceoil which will be held in Edgeworthstown on the weekend of 9th, 10th and 11th of May.

Bingo

Bingo will be held in Streete Parish Park, Centre on Sunday next, 23 March at 3pm. 4,000 euro in prizemoney. Proceeds in aid of Granard Visitor Centre.

District Development Association Ltd.

Edgeworthstown District Development is holding an Easter draw. First prize Luxurious Hamper, 2nd Prize Goodies Hamper, 3rd Prize Wine and chocolates and 4th Prize, selection of Easter Eggs. All proceeds will go to Edgeworthstown District Development. Cards on sale in the Post Office and local businesses in the town.

25 Card Drive

Scoil Bhride Parents Association will hold their Annual 25 Card Drive on Friday, March 21st, 2014 at 8.30p.m. in Scoil Bhride, Glen. Everyone is welcome, guaranteed to be an enjoyable night. 300 euro in prizes to be won. Free Raffle and refreshments will be served.

Mostrim Players

Mostrim Players Present “Snow White & The Five Dwarfs”, an original pantomime written by Pauline Flood and directed by Jimmy Connell in the Park House Hotel from Friday, March 28th to Sunday, March 30th. The Friday & Saturday shows are at 8pm with a Sunday matinee at 6pm. Tickets on sale from local outlets or by phoning 087-2891726.

Table Quiz

Longford Toastmasters are holding a Table Quiz in Longford Rugby Club on Thursday the 27th of March at 9pm (team registration at 8.30pm). Table of four persons cost 40 euro. Raffle and spot prizes on the night. All welcome.
