Newtowncashel

TIDY TOWNS: Newtowncashel secured 301 marks and retained its silver medal in the 2011 Tidy Towns Competition. The adjudicators commented very favourably on the Church, Parochial House and their grounds, on “The Hill” and on the School. The first adjudication took place on Thursday June 16th, while the second judge visited on Friday, July 29th. Well done to those who ensured the continued success of the Village. The recent appearance of graffiti on approach signs is a disappointing development.
