LEITRIM ROSE - Eslin School Teacher Brenda Stenson took the Leitrim Rose 2011 titlein Lough Rynn Castle Hotel on Easter Saturday. Brenda is a Home Economics and Irish Teacher in Rathmines. She was sponsored by Gerard Stenson Hardware, Mohill.Brenda plays wirh Eslin Ladies G.A.A and is a former member of the Millennium Choir. She now goes forward to the regional finals.

GOLDEN AGE GROUP

There will be a meeting of the above named froup on this Wednesday May 4th in Drumsna Community Centre at 11am.The Bealtaine “May Madness” takes place in the Bush Hotelon Tuesday night May 10th at 8pm.Music by Mark Finn. Highlight of the night will be the unveiling of the groups wall hanging containing every townland in the parish of Annaduff.

ANNADUFF WIN

Annaduff despite been down by five points with two minutes of normal time remaining best Allen Gaels by 2-7 to 1-7. Two goals in injury time by substitutes Fergus Beirne and Niall Maxweel gainig the points for Annaduff. Best for Annaduff were Dylan Kane, Aaron Duignan, Johnny O’Connor and Conor McLoughlin.

Annaduff beat Leitrim Gaels by 1-7 to 0-7 in Division 3 in Annaduff on Saturday. Annaduff were deserving winners in a poor match. They led at half time by 1-4 to 0-2. Best for the home side were Barry Daly, Thomas Flanagan, Ronan McCormack, John Faughnan, Matty Cox and former Mayo star Michael Moyles making his debut.
