Cavan GAA

The Cavan Senior team will meet old rivals Roscommon in the All Ireland qualifiers on this Saturday, 4th July in Kingspan Breffni Park in what will be a huge game for Cavan. Unfortunately for Cavan the loss of Rory Dunne will be a big blow and we wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully, Killian Clarke will be fit again to start that game. We wish them the best of luck and in particular our own Finbar McAvinue who we hope will get the chance to show his skill. The Cavan Ladies U-14 team will contest the All Ireland Division 1 “A” Final against Cork on this Saturday 4th July at 1 o’clock in Banagher, Co Offaly. The Arva Ladies Club are delighted to have 4 representatives on the panel with Kayla Brady, Leah Brady, Johanna Sheridan and Eabha Whelan all involved. They are requesting all supporters to get behind the team and have a bus leaving Arva at 10.30am with the return fee just €5. Anyone interested in travelling should contact Leslie on 087 054 2510 to book a seat – Under 15s must be accompanied by an adult. This is the first time any Girls team from Cavan has contested the Division 1 “A” Final so please make an effort to support them.
