Leebeen Park Committee will host a quiz night in aid of the upkeep of the park on Friday, 13th February in Murtagh’s pub, Aughnacliffe commencing at 9pm. Prizes galore.


Collection in aid of Gorta Self Help Africa on Sunday, 15th February following 11am mass.

Slimming world

Fishing competition

Loch Gowna/Upper Erne Anglers will host the Edward Shiels Memorial Pike Fishing competition (boat) on Sunday next, 15th February on Swan Lake. Fishing from 11 – 4pm. Membership due on this date (10 euro). For more information contact Kieran Lee on 086 8579156.


Deepest sympathy is extended to Mrs Maggie Donohoe, Derries, Lougduff on the death of her husband, Peter which occurred at Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, 31st January. Also sympathy to Peter’s sons John, Joe, Pauric and Edwin, daughters Mary, Cathy and Ann, sons in law, daughters in law, sisters in law, brother in law and extended family members. His remains were removed from his residence on Monday evening to St Joseph’s Church, Loughduff and following funeral mass on Tuesday morning burial took place in the local cemetery. May he rest in peace.

Top score 1st lady Martin Clyne; 2nd lady Anne Byrne; 3rd lady Anne Leonard; 1st gent Jimmy Cahill; 2nd gent Gerry Leavy; 3rd gent Cathal Fitzpatrick; half lady Jimmy Smith; half gent Edward McGivney. Next whist game on Wednesday 18th February at 8.30pm sharp. New players welcome.

Art classes
