Our Bowls Club travelled by mini bus to the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar last week for our presentation night. We collected our share of prizes and a very good night was had with some of the best dancers coming from Ardagh. Our singles competition has reached the final stage with Dean Victory defeating Danny Keenan in the first semi-final and Marie Farrell playing Sean Farrell in the other semi-final next Thursday. The doubles has started on a league basis, all members be available next week to progress the two groups. Forms will be issued shortly for our forthcoming AGM. We are seeking new members for casual bowls and league bowls. Just turn up on Thursday nights at 8pm in the Community Centre, Ardagh.

Sympathy is extended to Sean Baxter and family on the death of his sister, Ann Flannagan, Kenagh. May she rest in peace.
