Santa Meeting: Meeting to be held on Friday 11th November in Sports centre at 8.30pm to arrange the visit of Santa to Abbeylara this December. Anyone interested in helping to arrange his visit are more than welcome, interest from community is required for this visit to take place.

Santa Meeting: Meeting to be held on Friday 11th November in Sports centre at 8.30pm to arrange the visit of Santa to Abbeylara this December. Anyone interested in helping to arrange his visit are more than welcome, interest from community is required for this visit to take place.

Gun Club: The Club wishes to thank all who attended and took part in their recent Longest Pheasant competition on Thursday night the 3rd of November. Congratulations to the following winners 1st prize The Michael McCormack Perpetual Cup, Raymond Reilly Mullahoran with a bird of 41 ¾ inch, 2nd Niall Vance Dromard with a bird of 40¾inch and 3rd place to Stephen Reilly Lisryan with a bird of 40 ½. The Club prize 1st Andy Mc Manus Mullinalaghta with a bird of 39 ½ inch, 2nd Richard Flynn with a bird of 38 ½ inch, 3rd Johnny Flynn Abbeylara with a bird of 37½. Congratulations to Johnny Flynn for winning the Vermin Control Frank Smith Perpetual Trophy. The Club also wishes to thank Tina and staff in Crawford’s Lounge for the use and food on the night and to Seamus Denning Street, Patsy Cooke Granard and John Boyle Molly adjudicators on the night.
