Pioneer Fundraising: The Pioneer Association is projecting a deficit of €100,000 in 2011. This is due to the decline in the Pioneer magazine circulation and other income sources. The PTAA and Central Office face closure this year unless there is an urgent injection of funds. A donation of €10 per member would raise the necessary finance. It is hoped that most members will give more. For many members this is the first time they have been asked to contribute to the Association. The Appeal has raised €615 to date in Cashel. Remittance forms, with the appeal letter on the reverse, are available in the church porches. They may be returned directly to PTAA Head Office, 27 Upper Sherrard Street, Dublin 1, or to any member of the Cashel Committee.
