Fitness sessions

Gabriel Higgins from the fitness centre, Drumlish will run two taster fitness sessions in Cloone Community Centre on Thursday the 19th and 26th of March. Cost is 6 euro per class. Classes cover a mix of cardio/conditioning core and bar bell training. Call Gabriel on 087 2189517 for further info at 7pm start.


Bingo continues in Cloone Community Centre every Wednesday night at 8.30pm. Tea/coffee will be served during the break.


Cloone GAA presents the Cloonacool players romantic comedy Professor Tim by George Shiels in the Cornmill Theatre Carrigallen this Sunday night, March 8th at 8pm. Seats will be limited and early booking is advised. Admission is 10 euro and can be prebooked at 086 0594310. Your support would be much appreciated.

Ballinamore drama festival

Ballinamore Drama festival takes place from Sunday March 8th until Sunday March 15th. This year Eamon Daly from Drumshanbo will perform the official opening. We have a great line up of plays with groups travelling from Cavan, Tyrone, Wexford, Sligo, Dublin, Donegal and Kildare to perform plus the Corn Mill Theatre Group from Carrigallen. Season tickets for 8 nights. Admission costs 50 euro or 10 euro nightly with concessions for OAPs and students.


Congratulations to the boys and girls of Fatima NS, Cloone and St Joseph’s NS, Aughavas who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday last.

A furniture up cycling class

A furniture up cycling class using paint will run in Cloone Community Centre on Saturday, 21st March from 12 – 6pm. See Or contact 087 7191475 to book your place. Places limited so early booking is essential.

Craft classes

Craft classes in Cloone Community Centre every Monday night at 7.30pm. Macrame, cross stitching, crochet, knitting. All ages welcome , there is something to suit you all, rug work etc.

Keept fit

Classes continue in Cloone Community Centre every Monday night at 7pm and Thursday at 8pm. Cost 6 euro.

Aughavas/Clooone Active Age

Next meeting will take place in Cloone Community Centre on Thursday 12th March at 7.30pm. All members are requested to attend.
