Longford Warmer Homes provides free attic insulation, cavity wall insulation and energy advice to elderly and disadvantaged home owners throughout the county that meet certain criteria. Longford Warmer Homes also carries out work for the elderly as part of the Care & Repair Scheme. Emmet and Co sing for St. Christophers
Emmet and Co sing for St. Christophers Services. Sunday session takes place in the Park House on Sunday, 26th October starting at 5pm til late. The Jam Van Paddys in Conjunction with Rhythm and Sticks will perform new and old songs plus a guest appearance by Christy and Mono, former winners of Cavans Got Talent. Admission optional. St. Mel’s Cathedral is delighted to announce a new initiative called ‘Cantate’. The Latin word meaning ‘Sing’, ‘Cantate’ brings together two new ventures; a School’s Singing Programme and a Young Chorister Programme. Currently, we would like to invite boys and girls in Third, Fourth and Fifth Class to get involved.
