Congratulations to all those who represented St. Mary’s National School in the Ballyleague/Lanesboro St. Patrick’s Parade. Their entry, ‘Biodiversity’, was awarded the ‘Best Junior Float’ plaque for the fourth year in succession.
Lenrec Ltd, clothes recyclers, will collect new and used clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, ties, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys, etc.,in any condition once they are clean. Collection is on Wednesday, 26th March. Bags should be left at the school gate or the sheds at the rear, before 9.30a.m.
A table quiz in aid of the Harvest Festival will be held in Gav’s Bar, Kenagh, on Friday, 28th March, commencing at 8.30p.m. Table of four is €40. Proceeds in aid of St. Christophers.
